Harmony Barber Shop is set to reopen at Magic Kingdom

Harmony Barber Shop, located on Main Street U.S.A. in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park, will reopen its doors on July 31, 2022, once again offering the most magical hair service on Earth.

The barber shop, tucked into the corner between The Emporium and the fire station, boasts an iconic striped barber pole, but it’s also the place where a special “first” takes place.

One of its most popular services is the “My First Haircut,” a rite-of-passage for Disney’s youngest visitors. Kids of all ages (and adults) can also enjoy special treatment with a colorful sprinkling of glitter in their hair.

Disney Parks Blog has announced the barber shop’s reopening date, and a limited number of reservations will be available for the experience.

Guests can book using the My Disney Experience app, starting on June 28. Walk-ins will be accepted when availability allows.

Harmony Barber Shop is the final location to reopen on Main Street U.S.A. after the park’s closure due to the pandemic.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, located in Cinderella Castle, will also reopen for royal transformations later this year, both at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. More details will be coming soon.
