Some sweet news has hit Main Street, U.S.A. — the Main Street Confectionery has reopened at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!

Now sponsored by Mars Wrigley, the Confectionery features interactive opportunities to customize confections, similarly to the M&M’s store in Disney Springs.

Upon stepping inside the turn-of-the-century sweet shop, one of the first things guests will notice is a new candy wall, featuring 38 varieties of M&M’s and Skittles candies.

Those looking for something savory and sweet can customize their popcorn experience with four choices of flavors — caramel, rainbow fruit, buttery, and cheddar — and top it off with a selection of M&M’s, Skittles, or chocolate drizzle.

Like the iteration of the Main Street Confectionery that came before, this refurbished experience also features a candy kitchen viewing window where guests can watch cast members make and decorate sweet treats. In addition, there are over 30 new sweets to try that you won’t find anywhere else on property.

New special treats will also be available to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, starting Oct. 1.

There is also a new display titled “Meet the Sweets,” in which guests can learn more about the fictional chefs that keep the confectionery running.
