Warner Bros. Studio Tour London debuts limited-time ‘Discovering Hogwarts’ exhibit

“Discovering Hogwarts” at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will take visitors behind the scenes of the series’ early movies, with new exhibits celebrating the movie making magic behind Harry Potter’s first years at school.

The limited-time “Discovering Hogwarts” exhibit will run May 2 – Sept. 4, 2023, to shine a spotlight on some of the famous moments from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

Accio Special Experiences

New stops throughout the tour invite guests to relive famous scenes from Harry’s wizarding beginnings, including 400 candles floating in the air In the Great Hall set, a sight not seen in over 20 years.

Visitors will also get to step inside Professor Flitwick’s Charms classroom, where Warwick Davis’ character taught the children the levitating spell, “Wingardium Leviosa.” Guests will even learn how to cast the spell themselves.

In a live demonstration, fans will learn how Robbie Coltrane and his body double suited up with stilts and prosthetics to become the beloved Hogwarts gamekeeper, Rubeus Hagrid.

Other additions include an origami craft experience and a photo-op recreating the boat ride that Hogwarts’ first-year students take to the castle upon arrival.

These new additions for “Discovering Hogwarts” are in addition to the tour’s regular signature stops, incluiding the sets for the Forbidden Forest, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and more. Discovering Hogwarts is included with admission to the tour.
