Hasbro City debuts in Mexico with Monopoly coaster

Fans of the worldwide best-selling game Monopoly can now fulfill their dreams of being part of the game, with the opening of Hasbro City in the Paseo Interlomas shopping center outside Mexico City.

Hasbro City opened its doors with an array of interactive games, rides, and attractions, allowing visitors to experience popular franchises from the Hasbro family of brands, including My Little Pony, Transformers, Monopoly, and more.

Attractions and Rides

On Monopoly the Ride, the flagship attraction of Hasbro City, riders control the coaster’s speed as it twists and turns around the entertainment center. Other rides include a drop tower themed to Optimus Prime from the Transformers franchise, Hasbro go-karts, and Power Rangers-themed bumper cars.

For fans of the My Little Pony franchise, Zipp’s Royal Flight offers guests a chance to fly high while pedaling their own ride vehicle. Little ones will enjoy Play-Doh Plaza which features a climbing, sliding, and free-exploring area full of bright colors and shapes.

Not only are there rides, but also games of skill. Arcade Avenue features classic arcade games such as basketball shooting, skeeball, and various video games.

Shows and Characters at Hasbro City

In addition to rides, Hasbro City offers the opportunity to meet and see shows featuring favorite characters. In the theater, the performance highlights characters from My Little Pony, Potato Head, and Transformers. Main characters from the PJ Masks franchise have a meet-and-greet in the PJ Masks Adventure Zone.

Merchandise and Food

Restaurants and snack stops inspired by Potato Head, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Clue offer everything from burgers and fries to ice cream and flavored popcorn.

After filling your stomach, fill your bag with purchases at Mexico’s only official Hasbro store. Another shopping option coming soon will be the Candy Land Store, based on the board game of the same name.

Currently, tickets start at $149, and guests under 35 inches are free.
