The Haunted Mansion, one of the most iconic rides in Disney history, is celebrating 50 years at Disneyland this year – and to commemorate the occasion, a new merchandise collection is coming to both coasts on Aug. 9.
Check out the items you can get your ghoulish hands on below:
If you’ve ever found yourself drawn to the spectral beings inside the mansion, consider taking home a Host-A-Ghost! Just tap on these jars, and Madame Leota will conjure up a spirit just for you. Choose from departed souls like Constance Hatchaway, Professor Phineas Plump, The Hatbox Ghost, and more. You can find them on their own dedicated cart in New Orleans Square.
Add some spirit to your wardrobe with this commemorative apparel.
You can also pick up a variety of Haunted Mansion-inspired jewelry and accessories. Alex and Ani will launch a “50 Years of Happy Haunts” charm, and Pandora is releasing three new Haunted Mansion-inspired charms. You can find them at La Mascarade d’Orleans. There will also be a variety of anniversary-themed pins to choose form.
This entire collection will also be available at Walt Disney World on Aug. 9, where they will also be celebrating the anniversary. Celebratory merchandise and a sweet themed treat will also be available – shops to find these items will be Memento Mori, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, and Frontier Trading Post.
When you pick up your very own Host-A-Ghost at Memento Mori, you’ll receive your very own “Death Certificate,” signifying your role as a ghost caretaker.
You can also pick up commemorative merchandise like an ear hat, ornament, mug, magnet, and even a toy replica of the famous Doom Buggy that glows and features new sounds at Memento Mori. You’ll also find the previously mentioned Alex and Ani bracelet along with light-up ears and anniversary apparel at this location. The previously-mentioned Pandora charm set will be available at Uptown Jewelers.
At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, you’ll find a Haunted Mansion-inspired Dooney & Bourke collection that includes a tote and cross-body bag. There will also be an exclusive satchel for Passholders.
At Frontier Trading Post, you’ll find something for every kind of collector, including a commemorative “day of” pin, a mystery pin collection, and a glow-in-the-dark Madame Leota Funko Pop.
To celebrate the anniversary, guests can also take part in special Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots featuring the Hitchhiking Ghosts and the Hatbox Ghost!
Last but not least, head over to the Haunted Mansion ice cream cart for the Host-A-Ghost chocolate cupcake made with dark chocolate truffle filling, crispy pearls, buttercream icing, and milk chocolate decorations.
All of these special merch offerings will be available starting at 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 9 at Magic Kingdom. This merch event will also include early access to riding The Haunted Mansion! However, guests attending Disney Villains After Hours on Aug. 8 will have access to certain items in advance. The Madame Leota Funko Pop, pins and Dooney & Bourke bags will all release on the morning of Aug. 9 and will not be available during Disney Villains After Hours.
