The weekend lineup announced for Rock the Universe 2024 at Universal Orlando

Universal Orlando is encouraging guests to “Ride, Rock, and Rejoice” on Jan. 26 and 27, 2024, at Universal Studios Florida.

Rock the Universe 2024 Headlining Acts

Rock the Universe 2024 has at least one Christian musical group covering almost all musical styles. From rap to rock, Christian music fans should find a concert perfect for their taste.

This year’s line-up includes numerous Grammy award-winning artists for each Rock the Universe 2024 evening. On Friday, guests can enjoy the music of Grammy-nominated rock band We the Kingdom and talented Grammy award-winning rapper Lecrae.

The festival continues Saturday night with performances by Dove Award-winning band Casting Crowns, Grammy-nominated singer Phil Wickham, and Grammy award-winning singer Brandon Lake.  The entire list of musical artists performing at Rock the Universe can be found at www.RocktheUniverse.com

Casting Crowns

The headlining act to conclude Rock the Universe 2024 is Casting Crowns. This band, started by lead vocalist Mark Hall in Daytona Beach, Florida. has been producing Christian music for over 20 years. Other members were added when the band moved to Georgia, and Several Casting Crowns members serve as ministers for a Georgia church. They often tour from Thursday through Saturday to return to Georgia to fulfill their Sunday responsibilities.

The band’s popular Christian songs include “The Voice of Truth,” “Praise You in the Storm,” and “Slow Fade.” Based on their everyday lives as ministers working with young people, their music reflects real-life crises of belief and struggle.

Like previous years at Rock the Universe, two other musical stages are set up for concerts featuring Christian musical artists in addition to the headlining concerts. Beyond the concerts, attendees can immerse themselves in a weekend of inspiring worship experiences, which include a powerful Sunday morning service to wrap up the faith-filled weekend.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, the concert lineup looks like this on the two main stages:

Fan Zone at Rock the Universe 2024

During Rock the Universe, fans can keep the music flowing in a dedicated fan zone featuring live performances from up-and-coming acts. In addition, autograph sessions with participating bands and artists will be held during the event.

Admission tickets to Rock the Universe also include access to Universal Studios Florida’s thrilling theme park attractions during the event.

Fans can take a break from the music and experience the newest addition to the park, Minion Land on Illumination’s Avenue. In this area, guests can attempt to join the Vicious 6 during their time on Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, where guests can blast their way to supervillain stardom.

Additional rides open during Rock the Universe include Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem, and Revenge of the Mummy. Special merchandise will also be available for purchase each night of the event.
