Hello Kitty Café is ready to open on the Las Vegas Strip

Hello Kitty Café fans, take note: Sanrio lifestyle brand is opening a brand-new venue at Fashion Show Las Vegas shopping destination on July 8, 2022, celebrating the pop-culture brand with specialty merchandise, photo spots, and a range of sweet treats.

Hello Kitty Café Las Vegas’s grand opening event starts at 11 a.m. on July 8, and features an appearance by Hello Kitty, along with giveaways to the first 100 guests, plus a small gift with each purchase, while supplies last.

Additional locations honoring the popular brand include a pop-up concept venue at The Park MGM Las Vegas, which opened in 2019; Hello Kitty Grand Café in Irvine, Calif.; and two Hello Kitty Café Trucks, both of which were added in 2014.

The newest venue expands the brand shortly after the My Hello Kitty Café experience launched on Roblox, allowing users across the world to create and manage their own Hello Kitty Café.

“The Hello Kitty Café has become an iconic destination for friends and fans across the world, where they can be part of the Sanrio community and share in Hello Kitty’s global message of friendship and kindness, whether it be IRL or in the metaverse,” said COO and Head of Business Development at Sanrio, Inc., Craig Takiguchi. “We are excited to be expanding the café experience in Las Vegas, where locals and visitors can experience a new, sweet way to enjoy all things Hello Kitty.”

The café will offer a selection of Hello Kitty themed sweets, including cupcakes, cakes, cookies, donuts, and soft-serve ice cream in a waffle cone, plus themed coffee and expresso drinks, lemonades, iced teas, and milk teas.

Visitors can pick up mugs, T-shirts, and other location-based merchandise at the café, and spend time taking photos at several Hello Kitty backdrops.

Hello Kitty Café Las Vegas will be open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday – Thursday; 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sundays.
