Heroes Weekend teaches fire safety at Legoland Florida Resort

Heroes Weekend, presented by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), celebrates the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week at Legoland Florida with stilt walkers, Lego Policemen, fire safety talks, and more, from September 3-5, 2022.

Kids and their grownups will be entertained as well as educated during the three-day event, which is free with park admission and with some Annual Passes.

Heroes Weekend activities include:

  • Pose for photos with firefighter stilt walkers near the park’s NFPA Rescue Academy.
  • Lessons on what to do when the home smoke alarm sounds, plus more fire safety information provided by representatives at the NFPA Awareness Table.
  • Take part in brick-building fun by helping to create a Lego City mosaic.
  • Learn how to make a home escape plan.
  • Join a crazy caper compliments of the local Lego City Police Officers at a showing of “The Lego City 4D: Officer in Pursuit,” then snap a photo while meeting with a Lego Policeman. Both take place at the Legoland Fun Town Theater.
