Holidays at the Disneyland Resort returns on Nov. 10
Halloween preparations are just getting underway in Anaheim, but Disneyland is already looking ahead, with the announcement that Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will return Nov. 10, 2023, through Jan. 7, 2024.
In addition to returning guest-favorite foods, shows, and holiday-themed ride overlays, Mickey and his pals will once again debut new holiday outfits, which this year will be mid-century modern-inspired.
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will include:
Disney Festival of Holidays – A holiday food festival at Disney California Adventure featuring the tastes, sounds, and traditions of Christmas, Navidad, Diwali, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! – A lively street party in its tenth season in Paradise Gardens Park at California Adventure celebrating holiday traditions from Latin America with Mickey and Minnie along with the Three Caballeros, Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets, and an appearance by Mirabel from “Encanto.”
“A Christmas Fantasy Parade” – The popular annual holiday parade down Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park stars characters from “Frozen,” “Toy Story,” and, of course, Santa Claus himself.
“Believe…In Holiday Magic” at Disneyland Park – The skies over Sleeping Beauty castle will be illuminated with holiday-themed fireworks (and even a dusting of magical Christmas snow).
“World of Color – Season of Light”– Hundreds of fountains and colorful lights present holiday moments from Disney animated films on water scrims across Paradise Bay in California Adventure.
“it’s a small world” Holiday – The seasonal overlay that transforms the beloved attraction into a holiday cruise around the world.
Haunted Mansion Holiday – Jack Skellington and his pals from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” continue their Halloween takeover of the Haunted Mansion, complete with a gruesome gingerbread house created by Disneyland’s culinary team in the ballroom.
Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl – Both Cars Land attractions in California Adventure will take on seasonal spins for the “haul-idays.”
“Mickey’s Happy Holidays” – Disney and Pixar characters will march through California Adventure to the festive beat of the Holiday Toy Drummers several times a day during the holiday season.
In addition, from Nov. 10 through Dec. 24, 2023, Santa will pose for jolly family photos in Critter Country in Disneyland, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and the Disneyland Hotel.
