Hotel Landy now open near Universal Orlando
Hotel Landy opened March 19, 2024, in Orlando, Fla. with lodging close to Universal Orlando Resort.
The property, formerly known as Hotel Kinetic, has 400 guest rooms, including standard rooms and suites. Accommodations are pet-friendly. The hotel gets their new name as a shorted version of Orlando.
Hotel Landy is located at 7800 Universal Blvd., between the existing Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts and the forthcoming Universal Epic Universe theme park.
The hotel is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio, and is owned by Monarch Alternative Capital and managed by HHM Hotels’ Echelon Luxury and Lifestyle division.
Hotel Landy’s Ode to Theme Parks
The hotel’s interior spaces were developed by Parker-Torres Design. Science-focused details include dining areas inspired by Émilie du Châtelet, an 18th-century mathematician with a special connection to Orlando’s tourism industry: roller coasters would not exist without Châtelet’s work in the fields of velocity. Additionally, guest rooms feature science books for kids.

Hotel Landy Amenities and Dining
Hotel Landy offers amenities like access to an outdoor lawn, yoga studio, gym, and game room, as well as 10,000 square feet of available meeting space.
Dining options include a bar/lounge with a full menu, a market with Starbucks coffee, and a beverage truck by the pool.
