Tokyo Disney Resort will be hosting its inaugural Minnie Besties Bash!, according to the Oriental Land Company, which owns and operates the resort. The celebration will begin in both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea parks on Jan. 18 and run through March 31, 2023, preceding the resort’s 40th Anniversary Dream-Go-Round Celebration in mid-April 2023.

Minnie Besties Bash! will offer special merchandise, menu items, park decoration, exclusive items for Disney hotel guests, and a twist on their Covid-era one-float “parades.”
Minnie Besties Bash merchandise
Merchandise featuring designs of Minnie Mouse and her friends will be available at both parks on Jan. 17., a day before the celebration officially kicks off.
Food and decoration
Starting Dec. 26, 2022, Tokyo Disney Resort guests can enjoy special Minnie-themed menu items.
Minnie’s Lovely Dessert Plate (berry and hibiscus-flavored jelly-style dessert topped with a chocolate silhouette of Minnie Mouse, plus a strawberry cream puff with a chocolate bow) can be found at Center Street Coffeehouse.
Minnie’s Lovely Set (meat patty with white sauce, cream of potato and beet soup that turns pink when mixed together, strawberry cheese mousse cake, choice of bread or rice, and soft drink) will be available at Horizon Bay Restaurant.
Guests who purchase an eligible menu item at either of the restaurants mentioned above
will receive a luncheon mat with a limited-edition design of Minnie Mouse dancing on a stage.
The restaurants will also be decorated for the event. The posters of Minnie Mouse dotted with hearts will match the decor outside the restaurants as well, like the benches in the World Bazaar that read, “We love to love Minnie!,” or the posters at the American Waterfront in Tokyo DisneySea.
During the event, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will offer accommodation packages that include exclusive merchandise, such as a blanket, wall pocket, and room key case. Limited edition room keys featuring Minnie and her friend will also be given out to guests.
Additionally, restaurants at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Disney Ambassador Hotel will be offering exclusive Minnie Mouse-inspired menus.
There will also be day passes available for the Disney Resort Line, which connects the resort to Maihama Station, with unique designs themed to Minnie Besties Bash!.
When Tokyo Disneyland first reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic, characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Minnie Mouse would cruise around the park hub, greeting guests from atop a single parade float.
Parades returned to Japan’s parks earlier this year with the full regalia expected of a Disney parade, save for some dancing and show stops. But Tokyo Disney Resort will surely be reminded of the one-float “parades” when they see the dual-park presentation of “Minnie, We Love You!” at this event.
In Tokyo Disneyland, the show will follow the typical parade route once a day, and last about 30 minutes. Characters featured will include Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Pluto.
Meanwhile in Tokyo DisneySea, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck replace Pluto and join the rest of the aforementioned pals to sail around Mediterranean Harbor for about ten minutes twice daily on a single barge float.
