Inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom
It’s an historic day, as Disney shared the first-ever look inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the log flume replacing Splash Mountain.

The newly released visuals reveal multiple indoor scenes onboard the ride, including its grand finale.
The visuals appeared in a Disney social media video, as well as episode 2 of the YouTube series “We Call It Imagineering.” In both pieces of media, the viewer tags along for a ride on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with PJ Morton (Grammy-winning artist, and composer of the attraction’s new song, “Special Spice”), as well as Walt Disney Imagineering’s Tricia Holloway (global music executive), Charita Carter (executive creative producer) and Ted Robledo (executive creative director).
Compositing screenshots from both videos, below is our best guess for the order in which guests will experience the scenes Disney revealed today.
We’ll share higher-quality photos and videos from inside Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the weeks to come as the ride nears its official debut. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open June 28, 2024 at Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Fla. and later in 2024 (date TBA) at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif.
Taking place after the events of “The Princess and the Frog,” Tiana’s Bayou Adventure features dozens of new Audio-Animatronics figures and new music in a thrilling log flume voyage that repurposes the framework of its predecessor’s ride layout. The story involves a search for a band as Tiana prepares for a Mardi Gras party.
The attraction’s new song, “Special Spice” (written by Morton), will be available on streaming platforms May 31, 2024.
