Meet Frost and Flame, the Sirens of SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream
Move over, Dueling Dragons. As the Halloween season commences in just a few short months, SeaWorld Orlando is prepping for Howl-O-Scream by introducing Frost and Flame, two villainous characters in the haunt event’s lore.

A Halloween event in Orlando isn’t just a few mazes with jump scares. From Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida, theme park guests can step into highly-detailed environments brimming with layered storytelling — which, yes, includes the expected scares.
A New Chapter of the Howl-O-Scream Story
At Howl-O-Scream 2023, SeaWorld Orlando will serve as an appropriate backdrop for what appears to be an event-wide story themed to haunting mythical figures of the ocean: Sirens.
“The Seductive Dance Between Beauty and Nature”
A new page on SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream website provides some backstory on these mystical beings, as well as two specific characters guests will encounter at the event.

SeaWorld describes Sirens as “otherworldly beings” and “half-human, half-ghastly bird creatures or terrifying mermaid-like entities.” Sirens are known for calling out to sailors and luring the unlucky adventurers into chaos. “They embody the seductive dance between beauty and danger, drawing in their prey with their captivating appearance and haunting melodies, only to condemn them to a watery grave.”
Introducing Frost and Flame, the Howl-O-Scream Sirens
At the center of Howl-O-Scream’s Siren story are Frost and Flame, twin sisters, each with their own brand of sinister schemes.

Frost lives in the Arctic circle and freezes her victims in ice; in contrast, Flame scorches her prey in fire. They don’t sound as charming as the Miser brothers.
Planning Ahead for Howl-O-Scream 2023 at SeaWorld Orlando
