‘Together: a Pixar Musical Adventure’ debuts next month at Disneyland Paris

The brand-new original musical is exclusive to the resort and will perform daily in Walt Disney Studios Park, transporting audiences into the worlds of “Toy Story,” “Coco,” “Up,” “Monsters, Inc.,” and “Finding Nemo” with state-of-the-art technology, creative lighting, multi-sensory effects, and contemporary choreography, all accompanied by beloved music and an original score.

“Together: a Pixar Musical Adventure” Story

The new musical show tells the story of Charlie, a kid who loves music, dreams of conducting the orchestra for their school’s end-of-year gala, but unfortunately loses the sheet music the night before the big show.

“Charlie…loses all their sheet music, and it’s up to their friends – Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and others – to go on a mission to find them,” explains Arnaud Feredj, one of the co-show directors. “Since anything is possible at Disneyland Paris, the musicians will help the toys on their mission, taking guests on a journey through different Pixar universes, from ‘Up’ with Carl and Russell, ‘Finding Nemo’ with Marlin and Dory, ‘Monsters, Inc.’ with Sulley and Mike Wazowski, and ‘Coco’ with Miguel.”

According to Feredi, the show’s effects support the visual and musical parts of the show.

“In the world of ‘Finding Nemo,’ guests will be surprised by a water droplet effect correlated with a visual explosion, and various odorama effects with a sea breeze,” he reveals. “This helps to immerse guests in this iconic aquatic universe.”

“Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure” complements the popular Pixar-themed experiences already at the resort, including Cars Road Trip, Ratatouille: The Adventure, and Crush’s Coaster, plus Toy Story Playland Boutique, Bistrot Chez Rémy, the upcoming Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia, and more.

Disneyland Paris Resort guests can also stay at two hotels with Pixar touches: Disney Hotel Cheyenne, a Cowboy-town film-set-inspired hotel with “Toy Story” characters, and Disney Hotel Santa Fe, a Route 66 motel-style hotel with buildings represented by “Cars” characters.

Disneyland Paris Resort will deliver the following entertainment offerings in 2023:

• Mickey and the Magician in Animagique Theater at Walt Disney Studios Park – Mickey and friends master real magic in this award-winning musical show.
• The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands in Frontierland Theater at Disneyland Park – Relive iconic moments from “The Lion King” in this stage show featuring dancers, acrobats, and singers on the largest stage in Disneyland Paris equipped with 360° audio technology.
• Disney Junior Dream Factory in Studio D at Walt Disney Studios Park – This 20-min show invites guests to join Mickey, Minnie, and their special friends like Fancy Nancy Clancy, Vampirina, and Timon in the Disney Junior Dream Factory as they use their imagination and courage to dream.
• Frozen: A Musical Invitation in Toon Studio at Walt Disney Studios Park – Guests are invited to enjoy a heartwarming and unique interactive experience and embark on an enchanting Frozen journey through the Kingdom of Arendelle.
• Dream… and Shine Brighter on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park – A high-energy daytime show created for the resort’s 30^th-anniversary celebration, with more than 30 dancers and Disney Characters, colorful floats, and original songs (performances four times each day until Sept. 30, 2023).
• Disney Stars on Parade at Disneyland Park – The not-to-be-missed Disney Parade performed during the afternoon.
• Disney D-Light at Disneyland Park – A magical seven-minute show combining video projection, water jets, lighting effects, fog, lasers, and Disney music, ending with 200 drones in a choreographed sequence over Sleeping Beauty Castle. Performances every night until Sept. 30, 2023.
• Disney Dreams! In Disneyland Park – The award-winning night-time show over Sleeping Beauty Castle features state-of-the-art technology, projections, lasers, fountains, and pyrotechnic effects.
• Avengers: Power the Night at Walt Disney Studios Park –  Returning Sept. 1 through Nov. 5, 2023, the daily night-time show features 500 drones and special effects that launch guests into the world of Marvel.
