Jump into 2021 with a midnight leap from The Strat Hotel in Las Vegas

One lucky winner will make history this New Year’s Eve as Las Vegas’ “mirror ball” with a midnight leap over the Las Vegas Strip from SkyJump at The Strat Hotel, Casino & SkyPod.

The Strat’s “Midnight Mirror Ball” sweepstakes will award one winner with the chance to jump from the casino’s open-air SkyJump attraction at the stroke of midnight on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020. The open-air controlled descent with speeds topping 40 mph holds a Guinness World Record as the highest commercial decelerator descent facility.

In addition to the momentous jump from the SkyPod tower at midnight, the “Midnight Mirror Ball” sweepstakes winner will also receive an exclusive experience to celebrate New Year’s Eve with three guests. The prize includes SkyPod admission with unlimited thrill rides wristbands; a private party in the SkyPod tower (with complimentary cocktails and a selection of hors d’oeuvres); two complimentary rooms at The Strat Hotel for a one-night stay on Dec. 31, 2020; one bottle of Dom Perignon champagne to toast to the new year after leaping from the tower; and one digital video of their SkyJump experience.

One winner will be announced on Dec. 23, 2020. Thrill-seekers can enter to win on The Strat’s Instagram page. Fans can also earn entries by liking the announcement post, following @STRATvegas, tagging friends in the comment section, and commenting on the post. The winner and three invited friends must be at least 21 years of age and arrive in Las Vegas on Dec. 31, 2020.

For the first time ever, The Strat will welcome guests to experience New Year’s Eve from the highest views of the Las Vegas Strip. The casino’s thrill rides and SkyJump attraction will be open to the public from noon on Dec. 31, 2020, until 1:00 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021.
