Real go-karting + video game tech = Kart Klash from RPM Raceway

With a real track, electric vehicles, and software systems, people can go-kart like never before with Kart Klash at Race Play More Raceway (“RPM Raceway”) locations.

Kart Klash

While RPM Raceway already offers a go-kart experience, Kart Klash is the first of its kind. Not only are racers in actual vehicles, but they can see items on the track that aren’t there via digital holograms and interactive visual cues, thereby giving it a video game feel where the player is actually in the game. Racers can get power ups and points, collect targets, get TNTs, earn shields, decelerate their racing opponents, and more. The winner can’t win on speed alone.

Kart Klash can be played at RPM locations in Jersey City, N.J.; Long Island, N.Y.; Stamford, Conn.; and Syracuse, N.Y. The Stamford and Long Island locations are to open first, beginning today, Sept. 15, 2025.

Kart Klash combines many different technologies to create this immersive experience

This is not your average go-kart. In addition to the many video game features mentioned, the steering wheels are F1-inspired for real-time controls. The karts also deliver high torque, exceed 50 miles per hour, have 6KW of horsepower, and maintain an eco-friendly ride. They use 100% electric power. Racers will also have live stats and data delivered to their kart via an LED display.

“Kart Klash isn’t just about recording your fastest lap, it’s about outsmarting your opponents and crossing the finish line first,” said Andrew Farage, CEO and co-founder of RPM. “We’re rolling out a social reinvention of go-karting that blends the thrill of racing with the interactivity of gaming, appealing to a demographic that may prefer strategy over raw adrenaline.”

Kart Klash isn’t just for experienced racers

This new experience will feature designated race sessions for different levels. Juniors, teens, and adults can compete together. The live leaderboards with stats help keep the game new and challenging for those experienced racers, and the newcomers.

RPM Raceway is making history

Kart Klash was built on RPM Raceway’s R-TECH platform as part of a partnership with SODIKART. Together they created this new technology with live updates for racers.

This past April, RPM Raceway got its name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Longest Indoor Multi-Level Go-Kart Track in the World.

RPM Raceway is committed to taking the traditional analog racing experience and turning it into a “gamified adventure.”
