The initial plans for the park include two new attractions from Falcon’s Licensing within Katmandu that will help launch the first-ever theme park in the Dominican Republic.

Set to open in late 2020, Katmandu Punta Cana will feature the signature attraction “Quest for the Multiverse,” brought to life in an all-new updated form. In addition, the park will premiere Falcon’s Licensing’s Suspended Theater, offering a thrilling flying theater experience. Falcon’s will also develop a dark ride based on “The Legend of Katmandu.”

Guests who visit the park will be able to enjoy 36 holes of Expedition Golf, with themed holes that wind around a mountainous Nepalese landscape. Additional plans for the park include interactive rides, theater-based attractions, and a multi-story ninja playground filled with climbing nets and obstacle courses. Guests will also be able to enjoy a number of restaurants, cafes, and nighttime entertainment during their visit.

“Katmandu Group is extremely excited about our relationship with Falcon’s Creative Group and proud to be working with such a talented group of individuals,” said Dan Jensen, president of Katmandu Group.
