Lego Ferrari Build & Race now open at Legoland Florida
The all-new Lego Ferrari Build & Race officially opened today at Legoland Florida Resort, featuring a life-size 296 GTS Ferrari made of over 424,000 Lego pieces and more.
The newest experience at Legoland Florida includes three interactive zones: the Lego Ferrari Garage, the Lego Build & Test Zone, and the Interactive Race Zone.
Lego Ferrari Garage
Car and Lego lovers alike will be inspired by Ferrari’s impressive racing history and see the park’s newest Lego build: a life-size 296 GTS Ferrari.
The cherry red car took Legoland Master Builders 1850 hours to create and features working headlights, a driver’s door that opens, and a roaring race car-worthy engine.
Fun Facts: The Lego Ferrari measures 15 feet long, 7 ½ feet wide, and four feet tall and weighs in at almost two tons.
Lego Ferrari Build & Test Zone
Imaginations will race as guests create their own Lego Ferrari race car and then fine-tune their designs by evaluating their vehicle’s performance in the “test zone” by racing through obstacles on one of three test tracks.
Lego Ferrari Race Zone
After digitally customizing their Lego race car, guests can take on the “virtual race zone” to challenge other racers and set the fastest lap on a replica of Ferarri’s Pista di Fiorano private racetrack in Italy.
Younger kids can design and race their own Ferrari creations with larger bricks in the Lego Duplo build zone.
The new Lego Ferrari Build & Race interactive experience at Legoland Florida Resort is the latest in Merlin Entertainments’ partnership with Ferrari, which also includes the Lego Ferrari Build and Race at Legoland California, Legoland Billund, and Legoland Windsor Resorts.
