Lego Miniland U.S.A. given Halloween overlay at Legoland Florida
The Lego Miniland U.S.A. is one of the most unique parts of the Legoland Florida park. This area features huge recreations of famous cities like Las Vegas, New York, and Washington D.C. Now, during Legoland Florida’s Brick Or Treat event, this area has been given a special holiday overlay. New set pieces and hidden characters have shown up to spread the Halloween spirit.
Miniland USA is a large, shade-covered section of the park that offers Lego creations of iconic structures and cities in the United States of America. This year, a surprise overlay has been added to this area.
While not every section of Miniland USA was changed, there are these hidden characters and mini-stories hidden throughout. It has made the area even more of a scavenger hunt.
I couldn’t miss this Mike and Sulley set of figures. There are vampires and zombies spread throughout Miniland USA. But, throughout my search, this was the only pair of Mike and Sulley figures I could find. Good luck seeking them out for yourself on your next visit.
Zombie cheerleaders took over the entrance for Icon Park and The Wheel. You can do a meet and greet with a Lego zombie cheerleader this year as well, during the Brick or Treat event.
Not far away from the Icon Park and The Wheel area is this new graveyard, where you can see some zombie cheerleaders crawling their way to join the cheer squad.
Some characters are more hidden than others. I almost missed these skeletons and zombies near the Las Vegas area of Miniland USA.
While not related to the Halloween overlay, this was the first time I noticed this same-sex interracial wedding happening in Miniland USA.
The most prominent figures seen throughout Miniland USA are the vampires. You can find these creatures of the night in numerous areas, usually perched high atop iconic buildings.
Years ago, there also used to be a Lego “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” section, located right next to Miniland USA.
Brick or Treat at Legoland Florida is happening each weekend, now through October 30, 2022. This special event is included with admission and features new shows, meet and greet characters, candy locations, and this new Miniland USA overlay.
