Legoland California Castle Hotel opening April 27, 2018
Legoland California is preparing for princesses, knights and wizards in its upcoming Castle Hotel, opening April 27, 2018.
This new 250 room hotel will feature highly detailed rooms, children’s activities and Legoland California’s first full-service sit down restaurant. This three-story hotel will offer three different room themes: Royal Princess, Magic Wizard and Knights and Dragons. There are also 20 suites on property as well.

Along with different themes, the hotel will also offer the Royal Courtyard, an outdoor play area. It’s designed to immerse children in a fairytale of their own creation with a Duplo play area for the younger kids, larger play structures for the older kids, a giant movie screen for nighttime movies, a stage for live plays and shows, a gradual incline pool and a hot tub.
Back inside, guests can enjoy a meal at Legoland California’s first ever sit down full-service restaurant, Dragon’s Den. It will include an open kitchen, Lego models, entertainers and locally-sourced food. Breakfast will be included with each guest’s stay and includes made-to-order items along with a buffet.
Along with everything else, the Castle Hotel will also feature a Lego Wizard model that will greet guests as they enter the Grand Hall. There will also be a slide that will connect the lobby to the first floor and a knock-knock door created to entertain guests. Guests staying at the Castle Hotel will also have quick access to the Legoland Resort Park entrance.
The hotel is set to open up on April 27, 2018. Booking reservations are available now at Legoland.com. Legoland California and Legoland Florida both added new room options last year. You can check out those lodging videos below.
