Legoland Florida to host Red, White & Boom fireworks with socially-distant viewing areas

Legoland Florida Resort has announced that it will be hosting its annual Fourth of July event this year with one of the only fireworks displays in Central Florida, but with a socially-distant twist.

Red, White & Boom! will be held on July 4, offering guests a chance to see fireworks burst across the sky. For this year’s festivities, guests will be able to view the display safely in new, socially-distant viewing areas. This event is included in regular theme park admission. For now, though, there is no information on where these new viewing areas are located.

Guests can head to specifically designated areas from 7-9 p.m. to pick up special viewing glasses that turn the fireworks into Lego bricks:

  • Heartlake
  • Fun Town
  • Miniland USA
  • Land of Adventure
  • LEGO Technic Tot Spot

The resort notes on their website that “all event activities are subject to change without notice,” so be sure to keep that in mind if you plan to attend. To learn more, visit Legoland.com/Florida.
