This Legoland Florida shuttle has an Orlando pick-up location you wouldn’t expect
Disney Springs is known as a gateway to Walt Disney World, but it’s also home to one of Central Florida’s more unexpected transportation options. On select days, guests can board the Legoland Express there for direct service to Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven.

The service operates on select dates, with pick-up locations at Disney Springs and ICON Park. Guests must reserve their seats in advance through Legoland Florida’s website. A Legoland Florida spokesperson confirmed the Legoland Express launched on May 21, 2026, and that Disney Springs has been part of the service since its debut.
Let Legoland do the driving
For many Central Florida visitors, and locals too, getting to Legoland Florida Resort can be part of the challenge. The park is located in Winter Haven, well outside Orlando’s tourism district. Even from my side of Central Florida, it’s about a 90-minute drive. For out-of-town visitors, navigating unfamiliar roads, interstate traffic and parking (and costs) can add unnecessary stress before and after a day at the park. The Legoland Express lets guests leave the driving to Mears, arrive more rested and unwind on the ride back after a full day of fun.
The shuttle also makes the park more accessible for a wider range of guests. The Mears-operated service is wheelchair accessible, though guests who need a wheelchair space should reserve a wheelchair ticket in advance to guarantee availability. Limited stroller storage is also available on board.
Perhaps the most surprising part of the service is its Disney Springs pick-up location. While Disney Springs is home to transportation serving Walt Disney World Resort, it also accommodates select third-party transportation providers, including the Legoland Express.

Interestingly enough, Walt Disney World introduced new verification requirements for guests boarding Disney-operated buses and watercraft from Disney Springs to resort hotels, making the Legoland shuttle a notable non-Disney transportation option departing from the popular shopping, dining and entertainment destination.
Shuttle schedule
The Legoland Express offers two Orlando-area pick-up locations designed to get guests to the park around its typical 10 a.m. opening time. Guests departing from ICON Park board at 8:30 a.m., while the Disney Springs shuttle leaves at 9 a.m. After a full day at the park, the return shuttle departs 30 minutes after Legoland Florida closes, with the exact departure time varying based on that day’s operating hours.

Current operating schedule:
- Summer: Thursday through Sunday
- September through October: Friday and Saturday
- November: No schedule has been announced yet.
It’s not every day you can board a shuttle at Disney Springs and end up at another theme park, but that’s exactly what the Legoland Express offers. With round-trip tickets starting at $8 per person, it’s an easy—and unexpected—way to add another adventure to your Central Florida vacation.
