The fun begins when the Legoland Pirate Island Hotel opens on April 17. The new hotel features 150 rooms (including four suites), a heated pool, hundreds of Lego models, in-room treasure hunts, and exclusive character experiences. Like the Legoland Hotel, each room will include a kids’ sleeping area and a separate adult area.

The five-story hotel will also be the home of the pirate-themed Shipwreck Restaurant, which will offer family-style dining, the Smuggler’s Bar for adults, an entertainment area with kid-friendly nightly programming, and Lego play areas. Each overnight stay also includes a complimentary family-style breakfast.

The brand-new event, PirateFest Weekends, will run from April 18-19, 25-26, and May 2-3. Guests of all ages can learn to walk, talk and vacation like a pirate during this three-weekend event. Guests will have the chance to complete an exclusive “pirate passport” as they explore the park-wide activities, meet exclusive pirate characters, and join a scurvy bunch of seafarers following the grand opening of Pirate Island Hotel.

Making its debut on April 18 during PirateFest Weekends will be the new Pirate Water Ski Show Adventure. The only Legoland Resort water ski show in the world, “Battle for Brickbeard’s Bounty,” will close after an eight-year run to make way for this new show, which will feature skiing acrobatics, water stunts, pirate humor and more.
