Merlin announces Legoland New York opening date
Merlin Entertainments has announced the opening date for the upcoming Legoland New York Resort.

As reported by Blooloop, the world’s largest Legoland theme park will welcome its first guests on July 4, 2020, with eight lands and more than 50 rides for guests to experience at the 150-acre resort.

Legoland New York’s lands are the Factory, Bricktopia, Lego Ninjago World, Heartlake City, Knights’ Kingdom, Lego City, Pirate Shores, and Miniland.
“The Fourth of July means family and at Legoland theme parks, families can ride, climb, play, learn and build together,” said Matt Besterman, PR manager for Legoland New York. “At the same time, kids can celebrate their own independence by riding their first roller coaster, the Dragon, or driving their first car at Legoland Driving School. We’re thrilled to invite families across the northeast, the country and the world to make our theme park a tradition for summer fun.”

The new resort will be located 60 miles from New York City in Goshen, N.Y., and will include shows and attractions at the theme park, and a 250-room Legoland Hotel.
