Located just 60 miles north of New York City in Goshen, N.Y., Legoland New York Resort is opening in phases and will gradually increase capacity to encourage social distancing. The park welcomed First to Play Pass Holders earlier this month and now welcomes all guests during the preview period, with single-day tickets at a reduced price of $49.99.

“As the first theme park to open in the Northeast in decades, this preview period is our chance to welcome families who have been patiently waiting, giving them a chance to experience Legoland New York in its final stages of completion,” said Stephanie Johnson, Legoland New York Resort divisional director. “After the challenges of the past year, we know families are eager to get out, ride, build, play, learn, and spend time together. Through our phased opening approach, we’re able to safely welcome as many families as possible while prioritizing the health and safety of our guests and Model Citizens (staff).”

During this stage of Legoland New York’s phased opening, Annual Pass and single-day ticket holders can visit six of the park’s seven themed lands: Brick Street, Bricktopia, Lego City, Lego Castle, Lego Ninjago World, and Miniland, featuring 10 Lego cities made of more than 22 million Lego bricks. The seventh land, Lego Pirates, and the 250-room Legoland Hotel will open later this summer.

Lego Factory Adventure Ride

Guests will also be able to experience the world-premiere Lego Factory Adventure Ride, where they’ll shrink down to miniature size and see the creation process of a Lego brick in Professor Brick’s Lego factory. At the end of their journey, riders may even see themselves transformed into Lego Minifigures as they become part of the Professor’s latest experiment.

Kids will love earning their very own Legoland Driver’s License at the Driving School, teaming up with their family to save the day at the Fire Rescue Academy, browsing for Lego building sets in the Big Shop, and catching blockbuster 4D movies at the Palace Cinema.

As of May 19, annual pass holders can reserve a day to visit; reservations open for all guests on May 21. To reserve dates for the preview period, guests can visit Legoland New York Resort’s online booking portal. Guests will be able to book only one date at a time on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure all pass and ticket holders receive the opportunity to visit.
