Legoland New York is tricked out for ‘Brick-Or-Treat’

On Oct. 2, 2021, Legoland New York Resort in Goshen, N.Y., debuted its first-ever “Brick-or-Treat,” the not-so-spooky Halloween party built for kids.

From 3-6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October, Legoland New York’s seven themed lands will be tricked out with Halloween décor and transformed into a family-friendly Halloween spectacular hosted by larger-than-life Halloween characters like Count de Bricks, Madame Purplepeak, Zappo the Mummy, and Monster Mac.

“Like all our rides and attractions, ‘Brick-or-Treat’ is built for kids ages two through 12,” said Legoland New York Resort Divisional Director Stephanie Johnson. “So, instead of big scares, we want families to enjoy a safe, fun, and memorable Halloween holiday.”

In addition to Legoland New York’s rides and attractions — including the world premiere Lego Factory Adventure ride that transforms riders into Lego Minifigures — guests will be able to explore hay mazes and catch the Spider Show at the Legoland amphitheater. Kids ages 12 and under can also show off their Halloween costumes at the Brick Street Stage, where judges will pick the Most Lego Themed, Spookiest, Most Imaginative, and Funniest costumes. Plus, one lucky contestant will be awarded the Best of the Best.

Of course, no Halloween celebration is complete without treats, and Brick-Or-Treat offers six trick-or-treating stations along two dedicated paths: the Miniland path featuring sweet treats and the Friends path, which offers non-candy treats.

Located steps away from the park entrance arch, the brand-new Legoland New York Hotel (the first and only Lego-themed hotel in the Northeast) is also getting into the Halloween spirit with seasonal decorations, special Halloween entertainment, and meet-and-greets with Legoland characters.

“Autumn is the best time to take in the beauty of the Hudson Valley,” Johnson said. “After spending a day with us dressed up in costume, families can keep the festive fun going by booking a Halloween sleepover at Legoland Hotel.”

Admission to Brick-or-Treat is included with a Legoland New York single-day ticket, hotel package, or annual pass.
