With the massive success of the “The Mandalorian” on Disney+, and with Disney’s quality-first business strategy, comes the next set of Star Wars shows to Disney’s streaming service. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be a live action series based 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” This series will bring back Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader against Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
In his time away from the Jedi Order much has changed for Obi-Wan Kenobi, especially with his former padawan Anakin Skywalker on the loose as the infamous Darth Vader. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will go forward a decade after the events that separated these two in their fight on Mustafar. The series is directed by Deborah Chow, who helmed some episodes of “The Mandalorian.”
