Animated ‘The Bad Batch’ Star Wars Series coming to Disney+

by Tharin White

With the massive success of the “The Mandalorian” on Disney+, and with Disney’s quality-first business strategy, comes the next set of Star Wars shows to Disney’s streaming service. “The Bad Batch” will be an animated series spinoff from “The Clone Wars” Star Wars show.

The Bad Batch Series on Disney+

Following the footsteps of “The Clone Wars,” “The Bad Batch” follows a group of Clones near the end of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” This series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch, a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army, each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find a new purpose. This animated series will arrive exclusively on Disney+.
