Los Angeles Haunted Hayride returns for the 2021 Halloween season
From Sept. 24 – Oct. 31, 2021, L.A’s famous Griffith Park will be the setting for the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, transporting guests to the strange town of Midnight Falls, where it’s always Halloween — and it’s always 1985.
While celebrating the town’s 13th annual Halloween Festival for 1985, visitors will mingle with Midnight Falls residents in Town Square and explore locations and attractions that reveal the strange and sinister secrets behind this eerie town.
Los Angeles Haunted Hayride Attractions:
Hayride – Helpless victims brave enough to board The Hayride through Midnight Falls’ foothills will experience the horrors afflicting the town, including the witch of the woods who’s summoned spirits of the underworld to take the form of decorations used for celebrating Halloween.
Scare Zone – Midnight Falls’ Town Square is the center of the festivities; however, while guests walk around between attractions or hang out to soak in the “atmosFEAR,” townsfolk will roam the space interacting with guests and attending to their local business.
Trick or Treat Maze – The neighborhood of Midnight Falls has sprung to life — or perhaps, afterlife — as the resident creatures and monsters have decorated their houses for trick or treaters, and mischievous little ghouls lurk in the shadows waiting to give a fright.
Midnight Mortuary Maze – Dying to drum up more business, the local mortuary is hosting an open house where guests can tour the property to see what offerings await their demise. Unfortunately, guests separated from their tour risk becoming the next customer of the sinister funeral home.
Dead End Diner Maze – An old ’70’s rest stop at the edge of town has turned into a “tourist trap” where unlucky patrons are used as human meat and driven by the thirst for blood, the townsfolk have become increasingly aggressive towards visitors in this high-intensity cat-and-mouse-style attraction.
Tickets are $29.99 for the hayride only, $34.99 for general admission with standard wait time, $54.99 for VIP tickets with expedited wait time, and $109.99 for VIP tickets with immediate entry. Guests also have the option to book a private hayride experience for up to 30 people.
New for this year, guests will need to reserve a time to enter the Hayride queue, but they may enter the Main Entrance, Town Square, and any of the other mazes/attractions at any time during posted hours of operation on the night they attend. Platinum ticket holders may enter the Hayride queue at any time.
