Luke Combs club coming to Universal CityWalk waterfront | Timeline, location
Luke Combs’ Category 10 restaurant, music venue, and dancing club is coming to Universal CityWalk Orlando.

Opry Entertainment Group revealed the news of Luke Combs’ franchised hangout spot coming to Universal Orlando on Feb. 17, 2026.
Timeline for Category 10 construction
Opry Entertainment Group plans to break ground on Luke Combs’ Category 10 in summer 2026 for a projected grand opening of late 2027.
“I know Orlando is a worldwide destination spot, so I’m super pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there,” said Luke Combs. “My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”
Category 10 location within CityWalk

Luke Combs’ Category 10 at Universal CityWalk Orlando will be a 33,000-square-foot, three-story facility. The official Category 10 website describes the location as being “right in the heart of Universal CityWalk” and having a “waterfront view.” Additionally, concept art shows Hard Rock Café visible behind Category 10.
Based on these factors, we estimate Category 10 will be located to the left of CityWalk’s performance stage, across from Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville near the bridge to Islands of Adventure.
In any case, Category 10 will be a new building, rather than repurposing an existing CityWalk tenant, according to Universal Orlando on X.
For Combs fans unfamiliar with CityWalk, it’s a dining, shopping, and entertainment district at Universal Orlando Resort, just outside the front gates of the Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure theme parks. All day-guests visiting either of those two parks must pass through CityWalk on their way from the parking decks to the parks.
Given its location, construction of Category 10 will be in close proximity to another major Universal Orlando construction project. Just across the water, construction is underway for the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, opening in 2027.
All about Category 10
Luke Combs’ Category 10 serves food and drinks, hosts live music, and offers free line-dancing lessons.
The franchise comes from Opry Entertainment Group, a division of Ryman Hospitality Properties. This is the same company behind Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant on Orlando’s International Drive. Category 10 is designed by the firm Journey, whose clients include Six Flags Qiddiya City and Legoland parks, among others.
Category 10 is named after Combs song “Hurricane.” Its first location opened in Nashville, Tenn., in 2024, with another on the way for Las Vegas, Nev., in fall 2026.
“Country music is reaching more people nationally and internationally than ever before, driven in large part by superstars like Luke Combs,” said Colin Reed, executive chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties. “With Orlando welcoming millions of visitors from around the globe each year, expanding the Category 10 footprint into this world-class entertainment destination allows us to introduce visitors to an authentic country music experience inspired by Luke’s Carolina roots.”
