Lunar New Year, Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returning to Disneyland in 2020

Two guest-favorite events are returning to the Disneyland Resort in early 2020: Lunar New Year and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!

Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure is a celebration for people of all ages to commemorate Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese traditions alongside Disney characters.

Kick off 2020 with 24 days of Lunar New Year festivities at Disney California Adventure from Jan. 17 – Feb. 9. Celebrate the Year of the Mouse with multicultural performances, fun-filled activities, beautiful décor, food, and specialty merchandise. Guests can also look forward to “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession,” hosted by the hero of China and her dragon, Mushu.

During the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, guests can eat and drink their way through California-inspired offerings from Feb. 28 – April 21. Guests can also catch live entertainment, culinary seminars, and cooking demonstrations with a Disney twist. Kids can even get hands-on “cooking” tips from Chef Goofy.

The 2020 festival will offer more than 12 Festival Marketplaces packed with small plates, specialty wines and craft beers to try. The Sip and Savor Pass will also make a return for guests looking to try a variety of dishes. A new merchandise collection will also be available, featuring festival-themed headwear and apparel, kitchen gadgets, and decor.
