Lunar New Year returns to SeaWorld San Diego
Celebrate the sights and sounds of Asia during the Lunar New Year festivities at SeaWorld San Diego, happening now through Feb. 2.
This year’s celebration features a Chinese acrobatics show, local performers, and cultural culinary delights. Guests can indulge in Asian-inspired offerings like ramen, lo mein, bao buns, dim sum, rice dishes, and more.
The Lunar New Year Festival Stage will feature interactive performances including dancing, martial arts, Taiko drumming, as well as community performances. Some interactive activities will extend around the Skytower.
The Chinese Acrobats of Hebei will combine Chinese traditions, acrobatics, beautiful costumes, Chinese props, and a beautiful soundtrack to create a 25-minute Lunar New Year spectacle. Performed in SeaWorld San Diego’s Mission Bay Theater, several acts will be performed, including lion dancing, plate spinning, hoop diving, contortion, and chair stacking.
