Custom MagicBand on Demand printing debuts at Disney World

MagicBand on Demand Walt Disney World

Whether they like them or not, MagicBands have become a staple for families vacationing at Walt Disney World. Now the selection of MagicBands has widened as Disney has introduced MagicBand on Demand, even offering the long-awaited purple MagicBand.

At Magic Kingdom inside the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co. store, MagicBand on Demand gives guests the chance to have various designs printed on one of eight different MagicBand colors, including purple. D-Tech phone cases can also be printed here. The service is similar to the D-Tech on Demand store at Disney Springs.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, there are around 40 different MagicBand designs to choose from. A handful of the graphics can only be found at this Magic Kingdom location, showcasing different attractions and icons from the park. You can even have your name printed on the MagicBand, but it’s printed over the holes.

Your custom MagicBand will be printed on the spot using a UV ink that dries immediately. You can then choose to associate the MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account, or use it as a gift for family and friends.

  1. Good idea if they would let you customize the band’s you get when you book a magic your way package. That would be great, right now you can only customize with 7 or 9 letters or numbers .
