Marvel Comics reveals new Disney100 variant covers
Marvel Comics is celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary with a year-long variant cover program featuring Disney twists on iconic Marvel moments, and now three more Marvel Comics Disney100 variant covers have been revealed.
The Disney100 variant covers “celebrate Marvel’s past, present, and future through the classic ‘What If’ lens.” However, fans should note that only the covers are Disney-themed; the comics inside are the same Spider-Man stories without any Disney characters.
In October, we shared the first three Marvel Comics Disney100 variant covers are Amazing Spider-Man #17 (on sale Jan. 11, 2023), Amazing Spider-Man #19 (on sale Feb. 8, 2023), and Amazing Spider-Man #21 (on sale March 8, 2023).
While the first three covers paid homage to foundational stories in the Marvel Universe, the second set celebrates more modern Marvel stories, with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy stepping into pivotal moments like the Infinity Gauntlet, the debut of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and Tony Stark’s journey to becoming Iron Man.

- Amazing Spider-Man #23 Disney100 variant cover by Lorenzo Pastroviccio with colors by Chiara Di Francia (Arancia Studios) – On sale April. 5, 2023
- Amazing Spider-Man #25 Disney100 variant cover by Donald Soffritti with colors by Chiara Di Franca (Arancia Studio) – On sale May 3, 2023
- Amazing Spider-Man #27 Disney100 variant cover by Claudio Sciarrone with colors by Enrico Pennazza (Arancia Studio) – On sale June 7, 2023
With 12 covers in total, fans can look forward to a new Disney100 variant cover each month of 2023 (also available in Black and White versions).
