The Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel at D23 Expo 2019 shared new details on Marvel-themed experiences coming to Disney Parks around the world.
Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris
Starting in 2020 at Disney California Adventure and later on at Disneyland Paris, guests will soon be recruited as one of Earth’s mightiest heroes at Avengers Campus.
The first addition to the Avengers Campus will be the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, also known as “W.E.B.”. There, guests will find the new Spider-Man experience.
During an open house at W.E.B., aspiring inventors will invite you to test out their latest invention: the “Web-Slinger” vehicle, which gives riders the ability to sling webs like Spider-Man… which you’re going to need as Spider-Bots have gone haywire!
Another new addition to Avengers Campus is Pym Test Kitchen, where Pym Technologies will use the latest tech to grow and shrink food!
Guests will also encounter many of their favorite heroes at Avengers Campus, including Black Widow, Ant-Man, The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Thor, and Iron Man.
One of the main buildings coming to the California campus will be the Avengers Headquarters, where guests might see their favorite heroes roaming along the rooftops.
This building will open in phase 2 of Avengers Campus, and feature the main E-ticket attraction. Guests will climb aboard a Quinjet and fly with the Avengers on an epic mission to Wakanda and beyond! Guests will join in on a battle to save the world against one of the most powerful villains the Avengers have ever faced.
At Disneyland Paris, the adventure continues at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, opening next summer. Rooms will feature one-of-a-kind themed suites featuring superheroes like Spider-Man and Iron man, and meet-and-greets in a dedicated space will be available for guests to enjoy.
