The new series, originally announced to premiere on Friday, June 11, will turn Wednesdays into the new Fridays with its new debut date on Wednesday, June 9. No specific reason was given for the change in release date, but this Marvel fan is certainly not complaining.

“Loki” sees the God of Mischief in a timeline-splitting adventure that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Hiddleston returns as the titular character, with a supporting cast that includes Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. The series is directed by Kate Herron (“Sex Education”) with Michael Waldron (“Rick and Morty”) as head writer.
