‘Mary Poppins’ attraction, Spaceship Earth update postponed at Epcot

Disney has confirmed that development on both the previously-announced “Mary Poppins”-themed attraction and the reimagining of Spaceship Earth have been postponed at Epcot.

This confirmation comes after both updates had their segments cut from the presentation at the Epcot Experience in the Odyssey Events Pavilion. You can see the original presentation in full in the video below:

Both of these additions were announced at D23 Expo 2019 during the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel led by Bob Chapek:

Disney did not share how long these projects would be postponed. However, as Disney said that these projects are simply “postponed” and not “canceled,” there is still hope that we could see these experiences come to Epcot sometime in the future.
