Mears announces ‘Mears Connect’ direct express airport to resort service for Orlando
Mears Transportation Group has announced its commitment to continue offering transportation between the Orlando airport, local theme parks and resorts starting January 2022 with “Mears Connect.”
The new service is being introduced in response to demand and inquiries from future guests to Orlando’s theme parks and resorts. Earlier this year, in reaction to Disney announcing the end of the Magical Express transportation service, Mears made it clear that it intended “to continue offering transportation services between the airport and all area theme parks and hotels to meet the demand of our visitors now and in the future.”
Mears Connect will offer the same service that the company has provided to guests for decades, and will initially operate between the Orlando International Airport and resorts in the Walt Disney World area. Guests can expect high-occupancy vehicles with scheduled service, luggage handling, airport terminal staging, and return trips from resorts to the airport.
“We plan to offer the same level of experience, service, and convenience we’ve provided for the last 16 years, on behalf of our longtime partner, as returning guests and first-time visitors can expect nothing less,” said Roger Chapin, a Mears spokesperson. “It is important for visitors to know they will still have many of the same safe transportation options for their Orlando visit, all offered by the same company who has been providing seamless, economical, and hassle-free transportation for decades.”

Standard Service
- One Way – $16 per adult, $13.50 per child
- Round trip – $32 per adult, $27 per child
Premium Service
- Round Trip – $200 (up to 4 passengers)
- Per additional passenger – $55
