During the first phase of reopening, daily capacity will be limited and the majority of attractions, rides, and shows will be running at controlled capacity, with social distancing practices in place. Shops and dining outlets will also be available.

During phase one of the reopening, Explorer Canoes, Selfie Spot with Mickey at the Gardens of Imagination, and Marvel Universe will remain closed. Guests may check the resort’s website and the app for operational updates.

“I would like to thank all of our guests and fans for your support and passion for Disney,” said Joe Schott, president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. “Throughout this period, you kept the magic of Disney alive with your optimism and community spirit, and we are excited to welcome you back to a place full of happiness and wonder. I’m also appreciative of our cast members who worked tirelessly throughout our closure to ensure a safe and magical return for our guests. I look forward to seeing you all very soon!”

Wishing Star Park, Disneytown, and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel have already opened, adding to the comprehensive resort experience for guests.

Dated tickets for Shanghai Disneyland will be available for purchase online starting at 7 a.m. on June 29, 2022, and Annual Pass holder advanced theme park reservations will also become available on that date. A limited number of tickets will be sold each day, and the onsite ticketing booths will not be open.

Visitors and Annual Pass holders will be able to view Shanghai Disneyland’s ticketing and theme park reservations calendars on a rolling 30-day basis during the initial phase of reopening.

Prior to entering any park, all guests must present a green Shanghai Health QR Code (“Suishenma”), and have a negative Nucleic Acid Test taken within 72 hours. Further requirements apply.
