Magic Kingdom attractions to get holiday overlays for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is getting extra holiday magic this year, as select attractions will receive special overlays for the occasion.

Over at Tomorrowland Speedway, guests can cruise on a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and holiday décor. At Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, the comedic crew will put on a new holiday show for everyone visiting the Monster World during the Christmas Party. Space Mountain will even get in on the fun by launching space travelers on a “trippy jaunt through the cosmos”, packed with twinkling lights and high-energy holiday songs. Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland will transform into a roaring Christmas party as guests spin their teacups to one of four new holiday combinations of lights and song.

All of this will be new to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, in addition to “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show, which makes its debut this year. There will also be plenty of returning favorites, including “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas,” Club Tinsel, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.” Guests can also look forward to beautiful holiday decorations, complimentary treats and magical snowfall along Main Street, U.S.A.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take over Magic Kingdom starting Nov. 8, and will occur on select nights through Dec. 22, 2019. Tickets are on sale now, and as a Christmas in July surprise, you can save $10 when you buy your tickets in advance.
