‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ sets Disney+ premiere date

Disney+ has shared a first look at the original series “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” and revealed its premiere date.

Debuting on the platform on Friday, March 26, the show will see “The Mighty Ducks” return for a brand-new chapter starring Lauren Graham and Emilio Estevez in his iconic role of Coach Gordon Bombay.

The 10-episode season is set in present-day Minnesota, and the Mighty Ducks have evolved from a gang of underdogs to a powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is cut from the team, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to create their own team of misfits. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Estevez), they’ll rediscover the joys of playing just for the love of the game.

The series features a lineup of up-and-coming young actors including Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham, and DJ Watts.
