Street artist Buff Monster created “Minions”-themed designs for new apparel, with Minions x Buff Monster items available now at UNIVRS store locations in Florida and California.

Minions Say “Bello” to Buff Monster

The Minions x Buff Monster collection features t-shirts, shorts, hats, and more items that pair the “Despicable Me” characters with Buff Monster’s ice cream-focused imagery.

“I’ve always loved the Minions and how playful and expressive they are,” said Buff Monster, “so for this new collection, I was intrigued by the idea of having my ice cream characters, generally referred to as Mister Melty or The Melty Misfits, interact with the Minions in fun and dynamic ways.”

The merchandise is now available at UNIVRS, the fashion store at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. Though shoppers can purchase a limited selection of UNIVRS merchandise online, the Minions x Buff Monster items are exclusively sold in person at this time.

“We focused on combining Minions Bob, Kevin, and Stuart with my characters in surprising and unexpected compositions,” Buff Monster said, “using an assortment of bold key graphics and patterns across various clothing items made for a varied and cohesive capsule collection.”

Buff Monster will greet fans at UNIVRS in Universal CityWalk Hollywood on March 7, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. Universal will give a Minions x Buff Monster print to the first 50 guests who buy an item from the new collection during the event.
