Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon waterpark is about to get a bit more adventurous when the new water attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, opens on March 12.
Formerly called “Miss Fortune Falls,” this new water attraction is family-friendly and open to all ages, and is part of an expansion for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. This will make Typhoon Lagoon the first Disney water park to feature an audio animatronic and a ride-up conveyer belt as part of the ride.
Miss Adventure Falls tells the story of Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure hunter who was stranded on Typhoon Lagoon years ago with her pet parrot.
This attraction will take guests through white water twists and turns, past treasure and artifacts collected by Captain Oceaneer on her many adventures. This will also be the longest ride experience at the water park, with a total ride time of two minutes.
