MLS All-Star Week coming to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Orlando is getting ready for the 2019 Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Week, and players will head to ESPN Wide World of Sports for the All-Stars Skills Challenge.

Homegrown Game – July 30, 5 p.m.

This game will kick the week off as it pits 22 of soccer’s young stars from the U.S. and Canada against the Chivas de Guadalajara’s Under 20 roster. You can check out a list of who will be playing the game here.

2019 MLS All-Star Skills Challenge – June 30, 2019, 8 p.m.

See some of your favorite players as they put their athletic abilities to the test in a series of unique challenges. See MLS icons Wayne Rooney, Carlos Vela and Jonathan dos Santos team up with Orlando City Soccer Club favorites and stars from Atlético Madrid as they test their accuracy, goal-scoring creativity, and passing ability.

Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Soccer Match – June 31, 2019, 10 a.m.

The fun continues the following day, as the Special Olympics partners with Major League Soccer to host the Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Showcase. Athletes and partners from across North America representing MLS clubs will come together to compete in an 11 v. 11 match. The event will be held on Field 15, and is free and open to the public.

During this year’s MLS All-Star Week events, guests should keep in mind:

  • Bags smaller than 14” x 14” x 6” are allowed. Large bags and purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer and laptop bags, camera bags or any bag larger than the listed size are not allowed.
  • Security and bag checks will be set up at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex entrance.
