Muppets to make their Broadway debut with a touch of magic in fall 2025
The Muppets will be the special guests of illusionist Rob Lake’s new Broadway show this fall in New York City.

After being evicted from their home at Disney’s Hollywood Studios earlier this summer, the Muppets will now call Broadway home this fall as they join magician Rob Lake for a limited engagement of “Rob Lake Magic with Special Guests The Muppets.”
Starting on Oct. 28, 2025, the Broadhurst Theatre (most recently home to “Boop! The Musical”) will house the 12-week run of whatever magical antics Rob Lake and The Muppets have in store for the audience. Rob, a magician who made his first appearance on “America’s Got Talent,” is a lifelong theater kid. His career as a celebrated illusionist has had him playing in sold out arenas, casinos, and theaters across 60 countries.

While not much is known when it comes to details of the production, the show’s website promises “never-before-seen surprises and a different celebrity appearance at every show.” The website also has a place to sign up to be the first to know when tickets go on sale, so you can be apart of the Muppets’ Broadway debut without paying reseller prices.
This news comes just a few weeks after Broadway TikTok influencer @SweatyOracle shared a rumor of the Muppets coming to Broadway to do a limited holiday run of “The Muppets Christmas Carol.” While this isn’t exactly that, as wonderful as that would have been, it is extremely exciting to see the Muppets take the Broadway stage in a new medium that the public has not yet seen.
