NBA Experience permanently closed at Disney Springs
After only being open for a short while before shuttering due to COVID-19, Disney has confirmed that NBA Experience is now permanently closed at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs.

As reported by the Orlando Sentinel, the interactive attraction will not reopen to the public; it has been closed since March 2020 due to COVID-19, after just debuting at Disney Springs West Side in August 2019.
The attraction, which was the home of the former DisneyQuest attraction until 2017, featured 13 different basketball-related offerings across 44,000-square feet and two floors, offering guests the chance to step into the Jordans of their favorite NBA or WNBA players.
The decision to close the facility, which was a mutual decision made with the NBA, was communicated to Disney Springs employees via email earlier today.

Too bad it didn’t do better, but honestly, I won’t miss it.
What is to become of the NBA store next to the NBA Experience?
We aren’t sure yet, but will share an update once we have it.
