New cirque act debuts at Cypress Gardens

The Royal Palm Theater in Cypress Gardens has reopened its doors to an amazing acrobatic act – Cypress Cirque.

The show begins with n amazing hula-hoop act (below) where the performer starts with balancing one hoop and gradually adds more hoops for a slinky-like effect.

A demonstration of strength and flexibility takes place when a contortionist synchronizes eye-catching moves and unbelievable poses (above).

Next, guests will be entertained with an interactive plate-spinning act. Comedy is combined with skill as the performer battles to keep each plate spinning.

The final act includes a father and daughter in a balancing act that exhibits strength and grace.

Show times of Cypress Cirque are 1 and 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The show is approximately 25 minutes long. Break-out acrobatic acts, giving guests a taste of the show, will appear throughout the park Thursday through Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. The show is scheduled to run through Labor Day.

The cast includes Maksat Annaev as the comedian and magician, Alina Sergeeva performing with the hula-hoop and Odontuya Munkhbold “Otna”, Khongorzul Tolbov “Hangra” and Vugantya Otgonbayar “Ugna” as Contortionists.
