New Details Revealed for Season of the Force at Disneyland

Disneyland Resort has revealed details about the limited-time experiences and offerings guests can look forward to from April 5 through June 2, 2024, during Season of the Force.

During Disneyland Park’s annual celebration, the popular Hyperspace Mountain Space Mountain overlay returns for a limited time through June 2, 2024.

Beginning April 5, 2024, Star Tours—The Adventures Continue will introduce all-new adventures inspired by the Disney+ series “Ahsoka,” “Andor,” and “The Mandalorian.” Space travelers may even receive urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, or Din Djarin and Grogu during their flight.

“Fire of the Rising Moons” Debuts for Season of the Force

Debuting on select nights beginning April 5, 2024, guests can experience “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a nighttime experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that offers a different view of the Disneyland fireworks display, accompanied by galactic music from composer (and 2024 Disney Legend) John Williams’ Star Wars film scores.

“Fire of the Rising Moons” can be experienced from several areas in Galaxy’s Edge, including the Black Spire Spaceport and speeder garage. Guests with MagicBand+ will also experience colorful lights and ambient vibrations synchronized with the show.

New Merchandise for Season of the Force

New merchandise will soon be available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Star Trader in Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park, and Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney District. 

The Star Tours—The Adventures Continue merchandise collection (coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World) will be among the new releases. Select items will also become available at DisneyStore.com later this year. 

Themed food, beverages, and collectible novelties

Specialty Season of the Force-themed food and beverages, including a Star Wars sugar cookie, will be available for a limited time.

New Season of the Force Magic Shot

New this year, Star Wars fans can join the search for Din Djarin, Grogu, and more with a holopuck Magic Shot from Disney PhotoPass Service.

Additional returning Star Wars Magic Shots and themed Disney PhotoPass Lenses (included with the purchase of Disney Genie+ service) will also be available.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

The separately ticketed after-hours parties on select nights from April 16 through May 9, 2024, features appearances by Star Wars characters, special Star Wars-themed menu items, photo opportunities, and merchandise, plus a lightsaber instructional, and the Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade when guests dressed in Star Wars costumes will be invited to march down Main Street, U.S.A.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite takes place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on April 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30, and May 2, 7, and 9, 2024. Tickets start at $159 per guest (ages 3+), which includes admission to Disneyland Park as early as 6 p.m. Guests with a ticket to this event do not need to make a theme park reservation to enter Disneyland Park.

Star Wars Experiences Throughout the Year 

The Disneyland Resort offers plenty of Star Wars fun all year, from out-of-this-world dining at Galactic Grill and Docking Bay 7 to immersive attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Star wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters

In addition, Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters is a quest that allows guests to become bounty hunters in a galaxy far, far away.After being assigned a hidden bounty, guests must search throughout Black Spire Outpost as vibrations and lights on their MagicBand+ guide them in the right direction. When the bounty is found, the Play Disney Parks app’s augmented reality thermal viewer reveals who’s hiding in the shadows.
