The Mexican / South American restaurant from E-Brands Restaurants that is currently under construction at Downtown Disney is officially going to be called Paradiso 37.

The restaurant is being installed into a former Pleasure Island club location.

Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco at Epcot is partially owned by Rashid Choufani who also owns E-Brands.

Update: Some have asked what the number in the name means. Thirty seven signifies the 37 countries of the Americas.

  1. I don’t remember they ever had a club in that area, I thought it was just small shops and such. (Wasn’t Harley Davidson originally there till they moved across the way)

    nice name

  2. avigators, dtv, and the animation shop were there. there was also a snack shop (Missing Link?). no club. it is between the Adventurers Club and Beach Club across from 8-Trax/rear entrance to Mannequins.

  3. Confirmed date of May 1, 2009. It will highlight 37 countries with in North, Central, and South America. “The Street Foods of America”. A two story building with occupancy both inside and outside over looking the lake. It’s highlights other than food will be a wine bar that will be upstairs along with a tequila bar. There will be live music as well. The atmosphere will be fun and exciting.

For those who are familiar with DTD, it will be located across from where 8Trax used to be.
