Happy Frights

With the spooky season already charging up at Orlando area theme parks, Creative City Project And Memoir Agency has announced the debut of “Happy Frights” and “Haunting Nights, ” two seasonal Halloween events at Harry P. Leu Gardens (1920 N. Forest Avenue) in Orlando.

“We are excited to partner with Memoir Agency and Creative City Project to offer a new immersive Halloween experience in the Gardens,” says the Gardens executive director Jennifer D’hollander. “Visitors can choose from two adventures – more spooky or more fun, so there’s something for every age.”

Happy Frights

Both events feature artful and exciting Halloween experiences in the forests of Leu Gardens, with immersive worlds, fun fall-inspired encounters, a few jump scares, and fantastic seasonal food and drinks. Happy Frights will provide entertainment for the entire family and Haunting Nights focuses on guests aged 13 or older with a scarier experience.

“Since the first event we did at Leu Gardens, our audiences have been asking for a Halloween experience,” says Cole NeSmith, founder and creative director of Creative City Project. “We’re so grateful to finally be able to bring not just one, but two exciting shows to life this fall. Our team has put something together that we know is going to be so fun for every one of our guests. Whether it’s a fun night out with the family or a chance to gather with friends, I’m so grateful that – once again – we can bring our community together for these totally unique, artful and enjoyable Halloween shows!”

Guests will encounter several characters throughout the journey that will provide a heightened level of thrill and scare; however, Haunting Nights stated it’s “just the right amount of chilling amusement” for guests ages 13 and up.

Haunting Nights events start at 7:30 p.m. on select evenings.

On its website, Haunting Nights states:

We think Haunting Nights has just the right amount of thrill for anyone 13 and up. Haunting Nights isn’t gory and bloody. Rather, you’ll encounter several moments throughout the journey that may cause your heart to race just a little bit. It’s not a continual onslaught of fear, but there is no doubt you will encounter some moments that might result in an elevated heart-rate. Both Happy Frights and Haunting Nights will be a fun night out. But if you’re coming with a group that doesn’t have kids under 13, we encourage you to join us during the second half of the night for Haunting Nights. You may let out a few squeals during your visit. But we think they’ll be followed by smiles and an appreciative laugh of relief.
